Rayo have a couple of injury concerns, with Nery Castillo doubtful.

Real coach Carlo Ancelotti could name an unchanged side following Wednesday night's 7-3 demolition of Sevilla.

Midfielder Xabi Alonso (foot) came off the bench in midweek and is pushing for a start.

Should Alonso make the starting line-up, then Asier Illarramendi could drop to the bench.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick in midweek and Gareth Bale also impressed, and both could start again tonight.
