Real Madrid will reportedly launch a £30million bid for Manchester City midfielder David Silva this summer.
Madrid are believed to be keen on City striker Sergio Aguero and are also considering a summer bid for Arsenal captain Robin van Persie (see below).
But according to the Daily Star, Los Blancos also want to lure Silva back to Spain at the end of the season.
Silva, who joined City from Valencia in 2010, has been in superb form this season and is also believed to be a transfer target for Barcelona.
Madrid are said to have been monitoring Silva's progress ever since he moved to England, but City are almost certain to reject any bids.
And speaking late last year, the 26-year-old insisted he had has no plans to leave the Etihad Stadium.
He told Cadena SER: "Madrid and Barcelona are great teams, but I'm happy here and I would like to stay here for many years.
"My family are the same as me, we're happy. The people treat me really well and I'm very relaxed. I live in a very peaceful area, a small town.
"The important thing is the team. We are playing well and we are leaders. At the end of the season we will be in the fight and maybe we'll win the title.
"It's like any other club. They are putting together a great team and we hope to be one of the biggest sides in Europe."
