Real Madrid vs. Barcelona takes place tonight, with the latest El Clasico clash coming in the first leg of the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey.

The game, which takes place at the Bernabeu, is scheduled to kick off at 20:00 GMT, and airs live in the UK on Sky Sports 3/Sky Sports 3 HD.

Barcelona are flying high at the top of La Liga and Madrid will be looking to salvage some silverware from what has been a disappointing season to date.

An El Clasico clash means Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo will go head to head once again, and both players are in superb form right now.

Barca midfielder Xavi is looking forward to the game.

"We are very excited," said the midfielder, who on Monday signed a new contract at Camp Nou.

"We want to reach the final and have the added motivation of playing against Real Madrid.

"We will try to impose our style of play. We will go out looking to win the game and trying to score as many goals as possible so we can wrap up the series back at home."

Real striker Karim Benzema is hopeful Los Blancos can take a first-leg advantage to Camp Nou next month.

"Real Madrid versus Barcelona is the best game in the world," he said on Tuesday.

"Both of us have great teams. It's always a tough match. Each Clasico is different, but tomorrow we play at home and we want to play well and get the win.

"We played a great game against them in the second leg of the Super Cup, and we hope we can repeat that victory."
