Team News:

Shakhtar are expected to have a fully fit squad to choose from after Luiz Adriano returned to training this week.

Manchester United travel to Ukraine without Rio Ferdinand (groin).

United manager David Moyes is also without Fabio, Anderson and Wilfried Zaha for the game.

Marouane Fellaini, Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra did not start against West Brom at the weekend but are likely to feature, while Robin van Persie (groin) is fit and looks set to start.

What they've said ahead of kick-off:

Shakhtar Donetsk coach Mircea Lucescu (on David Moyes): "We know of Moyes' work at Everton. He needs time to get his ideas across to the players.

"Ancelotti is having the same problem (at Real Madrid). Mourinho (at Chelsea) and Pellegrini (at Manchester City) are the same. You need some time to prepare the team. Let's hope they find it but only after tomorrow's game."

David Moyes (on United's slow start to the season): "I have been in situations very similar to this at my old clubs Everton and also at Preston. You get on and you do the right things.

"I haven't changed what I have done. I will continue to do that. The results will come. I have no doubt about that."
