Venus Williams takes on Urszula Radwanska this afternoon in the first round of the 2013 French Open at Roland Garros (15:30 BST start).
The Williams sisters are both in their thirties now, and a few years down the line the Radwanskas might become the dominant sister act in the WTA.
Later today we can look forward to a match that could be indicative of some sort of changing of the guard, as Venus will take on Urszula in the first round of this year's French Open.
Venus' medical issues have made it hard for her to compete with a full schedule, and there are times when she can't play to her full ability. Even so, she's been an inspiration over the past two years and remains competitive. She'll take a 10-4 record for 2013 into this match and was able to achieve seeding as the world No. 30.
As for Radwanska, she's currently ranked just inside the top forty and has shown great improvement of late. No longer living completely in her sister's shadow, Urszula has become a player to be respected in her own right, and she poses a real threat to the 44-time titlist.
Head-to-head history tells us nothing of note here. Venus beat Urszula in Warsaw back in 2006 in straights, but a lot has changed since then. Venus still seems to be the favourite, but a win for Urszula wouldn't come as a huge shock to most followers of the sport.
Prediction: Williams in three.
