Agnieszka Radwanska takes on Na Li on Thursday in the semi-finals of the 2013 Apia International Sydney Tennis Tournament (03:00 GMT start).
Radwanska recorded a 6-4 7-5 victory over Roberta Vinci in the WTA Sydney quarter-finals on Wednesday.
Vinci is one of the toughest opponents in the WTA and Radwanska did well to finish the clash in straight sets.
"She pretty much doesn't miss and everything goes back to the other side - she's not giving up any free points," Aga said after her latest win.
"Today I was really trying to play more aggressive and come to the net more often, even serve and volley sometimes - I think that was the key of the match."
The Pole is now just two wins away from clinching her second title of the season. She’ll be delighted about her current form, which certainly bodes well with the Australian Open just around the corner.
Next up for Radwanska is a meeting with Na Li, who came close to a shock defeat against Madison Keys in the last eight but pulled herself together after winning a second set tie-breaker. The match finished 4-6 7-6 6-2.
Li may be ranked below Radwanska but there’s every reason to believe that she’s the favourite to win this upcoming tie. She won her last three matches against Radwanska on hardcourts for the loss of just 11 games, and currently holds a 5-3 head-to-head record against her.
Prediction: Li in three.
