Paddy Power Wwe Wrestlemania 31 Odds

WrestleMania 31 is just days away and the latest development in the Brock Lesnar contract saga has led to a shift in the odds for Sunday night’s main event.

The eyes of the wrestling world will be on Levi Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers, as Roman Reigns challenges the – as Paul Heyman would say – reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Heavyweight Champion of the World…. Brrrrrrock Lesnaaaaaaaaaaarrrrr!

Reigns had opened as a 2/7 favourite in Paddy Power’s WrestleMania 31 Odds market, but the odds have shifted in favour of Lesnar after the former UFC heavyweight champion confirmed he has signed a new deal with WWE. Lesnar is now the odds-on favourite at 8/11, while Reigns is Even money to leave Santa Clara with the strap.

The undercard sees WCW legend Sting take part in his first ever match in WWE, and ‘The Vigilante’ is taking on the chief operating officer, and multiple time WWE champion, Triple H. It has taken 14 years for WWE to finally lure Sting to the company and Paddy Power would be massively shocked if he loses to ‘The King of Kings’.

Sting is the 1/7 favourite, with Triple H 4/1 to win the match.

The Undertaker will be making his first appearance in a WWE ring since his WrestleMania undefeated streak came to a shocking halt just one year ago. WWE fans around the globe were left in a state of shock when Brock Lesnar became the 1 in 21-1, and the bookies are not expecting a repeat defeat for ‘The Deadman’ when he tackles Bray Wyatt. The Undertaker is a 2/9 favourite with Wyatt, the self-professed ‘New Face of Fear’, an 11/4 underdog.

Randy Orton recently returned to WWE and has gone straight into a feud with Seth Rollins, the man who put him out of action several months ago. Orton is the 8/11 favourite with Paddy Power, who go Evens about a win for Rollins. However, that bout may not be the last we see of the man who sold out The Shield, because the Irish firm are 5/4 he cashes in his Money in the Bank Briefcase to have a shot at the WWE title at Wrestlemania, 4/7 he does not.

Elsewhere on the card, Paddy expects John Cena to topple Rusev for the United States title (1/7), while Dean Ambrose is the 4/6 favourite to win the International Championship Ladder match which also features Daniel Bryan (3/1), Dolph Ziggler (11/1) and current champion Bad News Barrett (9/2).

AJ Lee and Paige are 3/10 favourites for the Divas Tag Team Match against The Bella Twins (11/5), while Damien Mizdow is the 8/5 favourite to win the Second Annual Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal ahead of Sheamus (9/2) and Mark Henry (6/1).
