The Seattle Mariners upset the leading team in the American League

Published on

After losing four games in a row, the Seattle Mariners found the right way past the Chicago White Sox on Thursday. The team led by Scott Servais entered into the game with more confidence despite their negative record so far. They were more focused throughout the 9 innings as they managed to wrap it up in the end, 1-5.

Logan Gilbert did a tremendous job for the Mariners as he locked up 4 strikeouts in a total of 5 innings in which he pitched. J.P. Crawford was yet another reason for the decent performance of the Mariners, who looked quite consistent even when things got heated up. They might not have the best roster this season, but they will surely do their best to reach the success of the late 90s in the MLB.

On the other hand, the Chicago White Sox were eliminated early in the playoffs by the Houston Astros last year, meaning that they will try to bounce back and keep their spot among the top contenders. They are currently in 4th place in terms of teams that are most likely to win the 2022 World Series.
