1st Round Playoff Preview Boston V.S. Brooklyn

This series is shaping up to potentially be the biggest upset seeding-wise in the entire 1st round of the NBA playoffs. It is almost a little unfair to the Celtics, who earned the two seed and drew the Nets. The Nets Star trio has still yet to play a game together, but it is expected that Ben Simmons will make his Nets debut in the series.

While the Celtics are very good, they may feel the loss of their starting center Robert Williams. He is expected to be out 4-6 weeks, so it is possible he could still be back before the playoffs are over but not in this series. Williams was the team-leading rebounder and shot blocker.

Prediction: Nets

It is almost as if there was a trade-in this series; the Celtics lose Robert Williams, and the Nets get Ben Simmons. Flip that, and the Celtics win the series, yet with it shaping up, as is the Nets win this series, and if Simmons is anywhere near his all-star level, the Nets may be able to contend for a championship.
