Bigua reached the 2022 LUB Finals

Bigua managed to completely outclass their opponents from Trouville in Game 3 to snatch their spot in the 2022 Uruguayan Basketball Finals. The second-seeded team dominated throughout the whole series as they have won each match by at least 10 points. Bigua took off underestimating Trouville on Monday, but their 18-2 run in the second quarter turned the game upside down.

The 28-year-old American center for Trouville once again shined on the court for his team, but apparently, his 28 points and 13 rebounds were only enough for the good start in the first quarter. Santos, Rojas, and Garcia led the way for Bigua, dropping around 20 points each, thus hugely contributing to the final score, 103-88. Bigua will have the chance to defend their title from last year to win their 4th LUB Trophy in their history.

They await the winner between the favorite, Penarol, and Aguada, who managed to defeat the top-seeded team from Goes. Unfortunately for them, the 3-time LUB Champions are unable to produce the same high-quality performance in the Semi-Finals against Penarol, who lead the series, 2-0.
