Embiid’s return equals a win for the Sixers

Published on

It was a huge night for the 76ers’ squad as they beat the Heat 116-108. The game marks the return of Joel Embiid who had a fantastic game showing critics why he deserves the moniker of Most Valuable Player. Embiid was a menace on both sides of the court and managed to pick up a double-double, with 24 points and 11 rebounds.

Embiid wasn’t the only Sixer that showed up tonight with the whole squad giving their all to even up the series. It was a return to form for James Harden who had an MVP caliber night as he scored 31 points and managed to dish the ball out for 9 assists. Green also had a key impact for the 76ers as he transformed into his former Spurs self that won the chip with Greg Popovich.

The series really seems to be picking up as many thought that without Embiid the Sixers would fail, but with his return, we have seen a revitalized Philly team that seems to be out for blood. This series looks like it could reach game 7 and we are definitely eager to see the next games between the two Eastern Conference sides.
