Felony charges filed against Miles Bridges

Charlotte Hornets’ power forward, Miles Bridges, has been charged with a felony and child abuse after being accused of assaulting his girlfriend. The young prospect from Michigan State was arrested in Los Angeles on June 29th before being released on a $130,000 bond.

Bridges has been charged with an assault by strangulation, brain concussion, a bruise of the rib, and a neck muscle strain. After his girlfriend posted her worries on Instagram, the up-and-coming power forward has been charged with three felony counts – one of injuring a child’s parent and two counts of child abuse.

Miles Bridges has been part of the Charlotte Hornets since 2018 as he managed to elevate his game to a point where he became irreplaceable. He has had huge success last year finishing off the season with 20.2 points, 7 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game across 80 appearances.

Being the Hornets’ leading scorer for the 2021/22 NBA season, this will definitely impact the whole roster heading into the pre-season games. The team relied heavily on the offensive pairing with LaMelo Baland Bridges and the league is eager to see how the team will perform next season.
