Kevin Durant with a possible move to Boston?

Considered by many to be the best current player in the NBA, Kevin Durant has been struggling to unleash his potential in recent years in Brooklyn. Even though Steve Nash acquired the big trio including Durant himself, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden, the Nets got only one Playoff win over the Celtics defeating them 4-1 in 2021.

The 33-year-old small forward’s career is slowly coming to its end as he will need to make a swift move to keep his chances of getting his third NBA ring alive. Durant reached his peak in Golden State after winning back-to-back Championships in 2017 and 2018.

As one of the best two-point shooters in the League, Durant has been considering a move to Finals runner’s up, the Boston Celtics. It’s not uncommon for him to pick a team that is a top contender as the Celtics are +550 favorites to win the title in the upcoming season as the Phoenix Suns and the Golden State Warriors are predicted to be their biggest rivals.

His versatile playing style can bring a huge advantage to the team in TD Garden. However, his pairing with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown will be of crucial importance if KD and the Celtics want to bring a ring to Boston.
