Michael Jordan gets on the cover of NBA 2K23

NBA 2K, a series of basketball simulation video games, has made a decision to pay some respect where it’s due. The creators have chosen the Hall of Famer and six-time NBA Champion, Michael Jordan, as the cover for the upcoming NBA 2K23 video game.

This will be the fourth time Jordan has appeared on the cover of the game as he was selected as the main promoter back in 2011, 2012, and 2016. Many might argue that Steph Curry deserves it more than everybody else this year, but is quite understandable why the year 2023 belongs to Michael Jordan, matching the most recognized jersey number in basketball history.

The game’s creators are bringing back the iconic Jordan challenges from 2K11. There will be a total of 15 challenges where people will have to replicate memorable moments of Jordan’s legendary career. Michael Jordan has been one of the most influential sports figures in history and this will be just another small gesture from the 2K series to celebrate his greatness.

NBA 2K23 launches on September 9, 2022, and it is available for pre-sale purchase worldwide. New additional features will be also added to the game in an attempt to keep their customers entertained in any possible way.
