Milwaukee Bucks Khris Middleton Injury Update

Middleton Injury Update

The defending NBA champions have looked ready to defend their title all year long and, entering the playoffs healthy, appeared ready to do so. Suddenly, an injury to one of their stars puts a massive scare into the title defense hopes.

Wing Khris Middleton is getting an MRI that will reveal the full extent of what was initially diagnosed as an MCL sprain. The results of that MRI may also hold the results of the Bucks’ title hopes. While the Bucks may be able to fend off the Chicago Bulls in the first round of the playoffs, they will not win an NBA title for the second year without Middleton.

The Middleton injury came as the Bucks had already lost key rotation member Bobby Portis to a right eye abrasion earlier in the game. While before the game, reports came out that George Hill was not expected to play at all in the series with an abdominal strain. For the Bucks to compete for another championship, they need to get healthy and fast.
