Monster Night for Giannis as Bucks take Game 5

Published on

Antetokounmpo showed fans why he deserved to be in the race for MVP last night as he led his team to a nail-biting victory against the Boston Celtics in Game 5. The former Most Valuable Player put up an impressive double double scoring 40 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Both teams went were going at each other right until the final buzzer and a steal from Jrue Holiday cemented the victory after a couple of threes from Pat Connaughton put the Celtics up three points.

Despite the impressive performance from the Bucks it is not to say that the Celtics’ loss was not hard-fought. Tatum has been on fire this series and yesterday he continued this run of hot streaks as he put up 34 points. His partner in crime Brown also had an equally impressive game scoring 26 points.

This series really has been neck and neck and many can see it going to Game 7. The Bucks are looking to go back to back for the championship and the Celtics are trying for their spot in the Finals after a 12-year hiatus.
