Pelicans tie the series against the Suns

Pelicans beat Suns

It was a big night in New Orleans as the Pelicans were able to tie the series 2-2 against the reigning Western Conference champions the Phoenix Suns. The Pelicans played their game and were able to bag the win and beat the Suns by an impressive 15 points. Brandon Ingram has been showing out in his first-ever playoff series putting up an impressive 29.7 points a game. Last night was no different as the Carolina native was able to score 30 points on the suns and was the Pelicans’ stand-out player by far. Ingram really seems to have found his feet in New Orleans after being traded in 2019 from the Lakers. The Lakers this year were led by LeBron James who is missing the Playoffs for the first time in 13 seasons.

Other notable performances from the Pelicans included Jonas Valanciunas who put up a career-high in playoff points finishing the game with 26 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 assists. “Grand Theft Alvarado” lived up to his nickname once again as he was able to get inside the head of NBA veteran guard Chris Paul who was been a menace in the league since being drafted in 2005.

Final Score: NOP 118 – PHX 103
Series tied at 2-2
