Possible NBA expansion teams in the works

The National Basketball Association hasn’t added a team to their ranks in roughly 20 years and this may change soon. It has been rumoured that two new teams will be joining the NBA and they are believed to be landing in Seattle and Las Vegas.

Seattle previously had a team in the city, that being the Supersonics which sadly had to be relocated to Oklahoma and was also renamed to the Thunder due to failing to find funding for their new arena. Seattle is a huge basketball city and its residents would love to see a team back in the Washington area.

Las Vegas has never had a team in the NBA but as one of the most recognizable cities in the United States of America, many can see a team flourishing here with the right direction and potentially become a big market in the league that superstars will want to join. “Sin City” would be a perfect place to host a team and many are hopeful that this expansion plan actually takes place.

The expansion may not happen until 2024 but that will give time for buyers to ready their wallets as if this plan goes through there will be lots of interest from business moguls across the world.
