Titanes remain undefeated after dismantling Tigrillos

The Colombian Basketball League has been dominated by a single team this season as Titanes hold a 9-0 record with their closest competitor having already lost 4 matches.
Their 35-year-old guard, Heissler Guillent, has been their most valuable player as his experience surely further help him lead the way for his team. On Thursday night, Titanes once again asserted their dominance with a 59-83 win over Tigrillos. They took off in the first quarter wrapping it up at 16-31 which was essentially a perfect start to what was a walk in the park for the top favorite for the title.

Michael Hicks dropped 18 points, while Soren de Luque netted 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. Their most versatile player, Heissler Guillent, finished off with 14 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals for 20 minutes on the court. Andres Carmona, Octavio Munoz, and Santiago Serna each drained 13 points for Tigrillos, but this was merely enough to hold the deficit below 25 points. Titanes are the biggest favorites to win the title for a second consecutive time after making a miraculous comeback against Cimarrones in the 2021 Clausura.
