Following Walsh dropping his strongest hints to date regarding his future, Ladbrokes have opened betting on his replacement and it’s the One Direction star who is the hot 7/4 favourite at time of writing. Robbie Williams is not far behind at 2/1, with Zayn Malik longer in the betting than Tomlinson at 12/1 despite being a free agent. Former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson is the 100/1 outsider in the X Factor Odds market, behind Noel Gallagher at 66/1. Ladbrokes spokesperson Alex Donohue told Crunchsports.com: “Walsh has been dropping hints for years but it finally looks like all retirement bets are off. “When it comes to his replacement, the odds suggest One Direction may lose another member.”
