Udinese right back Nahuel Molina is expected to trigger a bidding war with a host of clubs after his services.
An established Argentina international, Nottingham Forest are the latest Premier League club to show an interest in the player but its believed that it’s Juventus who are in the driving seat.
Underboss Steve Cooper, Nottingham Forest are due to play in the Premier League for the first time this century. Like most modern sides, Cooper relies on his full backs and it looks unlikely that Forest will be able to bring back Djed Spence. The youngster who was on loan last season is rumoured to be joining Tottenham which leaves a space on the right side of Forest’s defence which needs to be filled.
It’s been reported that Udinese are demanding $30 million for their star right back, and it’s unknown as to whether this is a price that Forest or Juventus are willing to pay.
Whilst both clubs contemplate the transfer, Atletico Madrid and AC Milan are also rumoured to be considering making a bid.
With the majority of clubs starting pre-season next week, it’s expected that this is a transfer that could move quickly.
