Brazilian hotshot signs first senior contract

The world’s most touted teenager Endrick has signed his first professional contract with Brazilian side Palmeiras.

Having just turned 16, Endrick was able to sign on professional terms and he should now be available to help Palmeiras as they bid for league glory.

It’s believed that Endrick’s time at Palmeiras will be short-lived as it’s anticipated that when he turns 18 he will make the move to Europe.

Every big club in Europe has been linked with the young Brazilian and there is set to be a frenzy for his signature. According to reports, Endrick has a release clause of €60 million, which can be activated as soon as he turns 18.

Yet to play a minute of senior football, Endrick has enjoyed an exceptional youth career that has seen him draw comparisons with national hero Neymar.

Playing at Under 21 level despite being so much younger than his teammates and opposition, Endrick was named player of the tournament at the famous Cophinha tournament.

Some in the Brazilian media believe that Endrick is on the fast track to the very top, with some even calling for him to be included in Brazil’s upcoming World Cup squad.

Although that seems unlikely, Endrick is certainly a name to keep an eye on in the future.
