Chelsea leading race for Richarlison

It looks increasingly likely that Richarlison will be leaving Everton this summer. A move away from Goodison Park would seem to be a move that would benefit both the Brazilian and his current club.

Richarlison who is now 25, has very little European experience and is reportedly desperate to make the step up into Champions League football.

Everton currently find themselves in a tricky spot financially and need to raise funds to complete their own acquisitions and rebalance the books. The selling of Richarlison would assist in doing this.

With Richarlison set on Champions League football, it’s Chelsea who currently hold the lead in landing the Brazilian. Everton value their star man at around £70 million and that is a figure that Chelsea and other potential suitors such as Tottenham seem reluctant to pay.

In order to overcome the fee that Everton have set, Chelsea have reportedly offered Armando Broja plus cash and it’s an offer that is currently being mulled over. With Chelsea losing Romelu Lukaku, there is a real need for the team to find more goals.
