Clubs in for Gleison Bremer

Recently crowned Serie A Defender of the Year Gleison Bremer has confirmed that he wants to leave his current club, Torino.

With just a year left on his contract, Torino will be wanting to extradite the maximum amount of revenue that they possibly can.

The 25-year-old has remarkably never been capped by Brazil but has a string of top clubs after him following his brilliant defensive play this season. Fellow Italian club Inter Milan are set to be in the driving seat when it comes to capturing the Brazilian’s signature, but Inter’s transfer policy seems up in the air.

Finances at Inter are very tight and with the club looking to sign the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Paulo Dybala, it’s thought that Inter will need to sell in order for the club to have the funds to purchase Bremer.

Inter’s delicate financial position has opened the door to a couple of Premier League clubs with both Chelsea and Tottenham reportedly interested in snapping him up.

Torino are set to demand up to €40 million for their star defender and in a fast moving market, it will be fascinating to see who makes the first move.
