Gabriel Jesus set for Arsenal move

Gabriel Jesus is expected to complete his medical with Arsenal today ahead of his £45 million move from Manchester City.

The signing of Jesus is a real statement of intent from the Gunners who look to be building a side more than capable of finishing inside the Premier League’s top four next season.

Jesus could well be the jewel in the crown and it’s hoped that his signing will not only provide cover across all front three positions but also look to cure the Gunner’s woes in front of goal.

Plenty of teams were interested in the Brazilian but it was Arsenal who have offered the best package.

Tired of being an impact player off the bench, it’s clear that Jesus will be Arsenal’s main man and the club will be looking for a healthy goalscoring return from their new signing.

Jesus proved at the end of last season that he can be relied upon and he started in several of City’s biggest matches.

Jesus currently has 58 Premier League goals to his name and he will be hoping to add to that total significantly next season. Jesus will be joining a cluster of Brazilians already at the club with Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel and Marquinhos all apart of Mikel Arteta’s squad.
