Juventus is close to finalising Di Maria deal

After weeks of negotiations it looks like Juventus are finally going to get their man, as Angel Di Maria is reportedly close to agreeing terms with the Italian side.

Di Maria has left PSG following the expiration of his contract and will sign for free. It’s expected that the last of Di Maria’s personal terms are being worked out before the signing can be officially announced.

Di Maria who is now 34 still feels he has plenty to offer both club and country and is looking to remain in Europe before finishing his career back in Argentina.

Joining PSG back in 2015, Di Maria scored 91 goals and set up a further 111 in his 294 matches for the club.

He makes the move to Juventus in order to stay in top shape for his country ahead of what will be his last international tournament for Argentina.

Juventus are rebuilding their side and are set to announce the signing of Paul Pogba alongside Di Maria.

It’s the Champions League that Juventus crave above all else and the Italian giants will hope the signing of experienced players such as Di Maria will help them compete with the very best.
