Raphinha hopes for transfer saga to be settled Raphinha moves closer to Leeds exit door

Raphinha hopes for transfer saga to be settled

One of the most intense transfer battles of the summer looks to be coming to a close as Raphinha edges closer to a move to Barcelona.

Raphinha has made no secret of his desire to move to the Catalan club, but the Spanish giants who are strapped for cash are yet to match what Chelsea has offered Leeds.

Raphinha has the blessings of boss Jessie Marsch to leave the club, and as a result, has stayed in the UK whilst the rest of the Leeds squad travel to Australia to compete in some pre-season friendlies.

It’s believed that Raphinha’s patience is wearing thin with the Barcelona board and if Barcelona can’t stump up the cash required, he might be forced to abandon his dream of a move and move elsewhere.

Barcelona has supposedly given verbal assurances to Leeds that a bid closer to the £60 million amount that the Elland Road hierarchy is demanding will be made.

It will be interesting to see if that bid materialises and Raphinha ends up getting his dream move or ends up staying in the Premier League.
