Reports state Neymar is available for a transfer

Sensational news has broken from France that Neymar has reportedly been made available for a transfer. Reports have stated that the 30-year-old who has been at PSG for five seasons can leave the club if a €50 million is submitted.

Neymar who arrived at PSG back in 2017 for a world record fee of €200 million was the first major marquee signing that the Qatari-based owners of PSG made. It was hoped that the Brazilian’s arrival would help PSG to the Champions League title, but an appearance in the final in 2020 is the closest that PSG have come.

Clearly tired of European underachievement, PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi released a statement to the press implying that anybody not sharing PSG’s aims and objectives would be sold. Some are now speculating that this statement might have been specifically aimed at the Brazilian.

Some of the world’s biggest clubs are now bound to be on alert at Neymar’s possible availability. Despite the transfer fee, Neymar’s huge wages will be a stumbling block for most clubs.

Neymar has also developed a reputation for being injury-prone and some within PSG have branded the Brazilian superstar unprofessional.
