Richarlison inches closer to Tottenham move

Published on

It’s widely expected that Tottenham will complete their fourth signing of the summer transfer window with the signing of Everton forward Richarlison.

The fee is expected to be around £50 million with a further £10 million in add ons.

The signing of the Brazilian is seen as somewhat of a coup for Spurs who after several years of trying seem to have finally found a suitable back up for Harry Kane as well as a forward who can play across the line.

Tottenham’s qualification for this year’s Champions League has played a huge part in the Brazilian choosing Tottenham as his next club.

Richarlison has enjoyed four seasons at Goodison Park and in that time has scored 43 Premier League goals.

Since his move to Everton, Richarlison has also established himself as a mainstay for the Brazilian national team. He has 36 caps for the senior side and has found the back of the net 14 times.

It’s clear that at this stage of his career Richarlison wants to push to the next level.

Tottenham clearly want a bigger and better squad and signing players like Richarlison should see them able to compete effectively both domestically and in Europe.
