After a decade of screwing up the NFL draft, even with plenty of top ten picks, the New York Jets finally had a good NFL draft as a franchise. The Jets had several picks early in the draft and selected several players ranked above where they were taken.
The Jet’s first four, possibly five selections, could be starters from the get-go. The Jets arguably
got four different players that could end up being the best player at their position in the entire NFL draft. Ahmad Sauce Gardner is considered the best corner, while Garrett Wilson was also rated as the top wide receiver.
Breece Hall, the draft’s top running back, and defensive end Jermaine Johnson may have the highest ceiling of any pass rusher in this draft class. The Jets needed lots of help coming off of last season. They hit a home run with their draft picks and have put enough talent around 2nd-year quarterback Zach Wilson to see if he is the real deal.
