There has been significant discussion on where each top quarterback will go in the upcoming NFL draft. This year’s draft class has said that it is not to be very strong. There is thought that several have high potential but are not day one impact starters. Yet NFL teams are always desperate for a franchise quarterback, so they often reach; the question is who to take the gamble on?
Kenny Pickett:
Has been close to the consensus #1 QB in the draft. He had a strong career in college, but there are concerns about his ceiling and some of his measurables.
Malik Willis:
Willis is probably the highest ceiling quarterback in the draft simply due to his physical skills. If it were me, he would be at the top of my draft board because he can be a quarterback that can win you a game on his pure ability.
Matt Corrall:
Playing in a gadget offense in college helped his numbers, but the talent is there. It will take him time to adjust to an NFL offense.
