If you love draft day drama, clear your schedule for Thursday night.
With just hours remaining until the 2022 NFL Draft kicks off in Las Vegas, experts still can’t agree on who the Jacksonville Jaguars will take with the #1 pick. Many favor Aidan Hutchinson, the defensive end and dominant pass rusher from Michigan. In his senior season with the Wolverines, Hutchinson notched 14 sacks, 19 tackles for loss, and two forced fumbles. However, not all see the Heisman finalist as a lock for #1.
Many, including Adam Aizer of CBS, think that the Jaguars will pass on Hutchinson in favor of Trayvon Walker of the national champion Georgia Bulldogs. The defensive tackle only started one year for the Bulldogs, but he made the most of it, recording 37 tackles, six sacks, and 36 quarterback pressures.
Whomever they draft, the Jaguars certainly need help following a disastrous 2021 campaign in which they won just three games and were forced to fire head coach Urban Meyer.
