Cordoba shores up lineup, adds Argentine winger Bolo

Published on

Following the departure of its prize defender Caio Cesar, the Cordoba Futsal team has signed Argentine winger Lucas Bolo in the hopes of strengthening their defensive core for next season.

The 30-year-old Bolo, who is fresh off an Italian Cup win with Pesaro, will be returning for his second stint in the Spanish League after playing with Santiago and Peñiscola.

Prior to his stint with Pesaro, the versatile Argentine helped San Lorenzo grab the 2021 Copa Libertadores.

A mainstay in the Argentina national team, Bolo has also steered his country into championship glories, winning the 2015 Copa America and the 2022 Copa America tournaments.

Bolo will be joined by Murcian goalkeeper Fabio as the new faces in the team with the latter leaving Palma Futsal at the end of this season.

More new faces are expected to join the Blanquiverdes next season with more of its current players leaving at the end of the year.
