Belgium take on Zambia this evening in the 13th place play-off at the 2011 Futsal Grand Prix after both sides recorded wins on Friday.
Belgium bounced back from a poor defeat to Angola on Thursday by beating the United States 4-1. It was the Europeans’ second win of the tournament and both their wins in Manaus have come against the USA. Tonight, Belgium take on Zambia after the African nation recorded a shock 7-3 win over Costa Rica. The result was one of the surprises of the tournament to date and came 24 hours after they had slumped to a dull 2-1 defeat against Hungary. Zambia scored just three goals and conceded 24 during the group stages, but will be in confident mood following Friday’s victory and this one could go either way.
Prediction: Zambia to win.
