Former world number one Tiger Woods improved on his first round showing to post a second-round 69 and make the cut at The Masters.
Woods bounced back from his first-round 73 as he shot a three-under par round on Friday, ensuring he will be in action this weekend with a two-under total being good enough to make the cut at Augusta National.
“I’m very excited [for the weekend],” Woods told Sky Sports. I’m 12 back [from leader Jordan Spieth] right now but there’s not a lot of guys ahead of me.
“We don’t know what the Committee is going to do [with the course]. They can change it overnight if they want to. If they want to toughen it up, they can, or they can leave it like it is right now, let us be aggressive and make birdies. We’ll see what it is.”
