Colombian teenage driver Nicolás Baptiste has taken on an even more challenging task as he makes his debut in the 2022 European Regional Formula 3.
The 16-year old Baptiste, who competed with the Cram Motorsport team in Italian Formula 4, said that he was excited and aware of the upcoming challenges ahead as he eyes to continue to move within the automobile series.
Baptiste is coming off a phenomenal 2021 wherein he grabbed a podium finish in September at the Red Bull Ring in Austria.
“I am happy and very excited. Now, I will be driving a car with new aerodynamics, much heavier and with more horsepower, which has required greater physical, mental and emotional preparation,” he said.
Baptiste is the youngest driver in the pack that consists of 37 riders from 20 nations. He represented the FA Racing team this year.
After the first circuit on Friday 22nd April, Baptiste is placing in 19th, and FA are currently in 8th position.
