Hendrick Motorsports trio William Byron, Kyle Larson, and Chase Elliott will get on a №88 Chevrolet in the upcoming races. Byron, who remains the only driver alongside Ross Chastain with 2 wins this season, will use the car at the Texas Motor Speedway for the All-Star Races. He will also drive the №88 Chevrolet at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway on July 16th.
The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion, Kyle Larson, who managed to pick up his first top 5 finish on a superspeedway last week in Talladega, will take the wheel at Watkins Glen International and Darlington Raceway towards the end of summer.
The current leader in the overall standings for the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series, Chase Elliott, will give it a go at Darlington Raceway on May 7th as he will be the first Hendrick Motorsports’ driver who will go behind the wheel of the №88 Chevrolet. The atomic trio has been performing on a high level so far this season as Elliott and Byron are 1st and 3rd, while Larson trails back in 7th place.
