Kyle Busch shows strength against the young competition in NASCAR

Published on

One of the most legendary NASCAR drivers, Kyle Busch, managed to pick up his 60th NASCAR Cup Series victory in the Bristol Dirt last weekend. He took advantage of the last lap mistake by the leaders, Tyler Reddick, and Chase Briscoe, who ran into each other, costing them the victory. This was his 18th straight season with a win.

The 36-year-old veteran tied Richard Petty with his 60th career win and he is now looking forward to further building upon this performance. Kyle Busch currently sits in 6th place with 273 points after 9 races. He has shown quite a consistent form as he already has six top 10 finishes this season.

Kyle Busch has won the NASCAR Cup Series title twice in his career – 2015 and 2019. He has 36 poles with his first win dating back to 2005 when he defeated the competition in the Sony HD 500. The experienced driver hasn’t mentioned anything about retirement, meaning that he will continue breaking records in the most decorated stock car racing championships in the United States.
