Kyle Larson in pursuit to defend his NASCAR Cup Series title

The defending champion Kyle Larson looks to win a 2nd title

Despite already having four bad races this season, the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion, Kyle Larson, will try to bounce back and cut the lead of Chase Elliott and Ryan Blaney. The 29-year-old Californian won his home race, WISE Power 400, back in February and ever after he has been either performing on a high level or has been suffering a huge blow to his ambitions.

Kyle Larson has been struggling at the beginning of his winning 2021 NASCAR season, meaning that his best races this year should be yet to come. With the GEICO 500 up ahead in the calendar, things are not looking great for him as he almost always had some troubles with this specific track throughout his career.

Larson earned his 17th career victory at Auto Club Speedway in the second race of the season. He will be looking forward to races like Coca-Cola 600 and Ally 400, which will take place at the beginning of the summer. That’s where he managed to secure his Playoffs spot last year and had the predominant pace throughout the weekends.
