Celtics up 3-2 against the Heat

The Celtics have taken Game 5 against the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Final with a score of 93-80. This comes after a huge performance from Boston’s dynamic duo Brown and Tatum, who combined put up 47 points which helped seal the deal for the Celtics. Brown even had a huge slam which saw the Celtics bench erupt off their seats and even had the fans in South Beach in awe of his athleticism. One player who has really been in the zone for the Celtics this post-season has been Al Horford. Horford a 15-year veteran has been superb in recent games and has become somewhat of an unsung hero for the Celtics. He was able to have an impact on all sides of the court and it is clear to see the experienced veteran’s influence on the rest of his predominately younger squad.

One of the main reasons the Celtics were able to overcome Miami was due to how poorly the Heat shot the basketball. The Heat finished the game with a field goal percentage of 31.9% and a three-point percentage of 15.6%, which in comparison to Boston who finished the game with 46.5% and 30.3% provides evidence why the Heat were unable to secure the victory in Game 5.

Game 6 is set for Saturday and if Miami does not perform as they previously have been they may see themselves getting sent home and missing out on the gold.
