Ochai Agbaji is a senior coming out of Kansas State Univeristy. Last season Agbaji put up 18.8 PPG, 5.1 RPG, 1.6 APG as a shooting guard, shooting an impressive 40.9% from the three. Beyond the arc – as a shooter – is where his primary skills lie, but he is also a menace on defence.
Agbaji may not be the first name you’ll think of this year for NBA teams to draft, but the phenomenal effort he has put into improving his craft since he started at Kansas State is admirable. If Agbaji keeps working on his game, it’s highly likely that he’ll become a solid option for any NBA team at the 2 guard position.
The Kings would be a great place for Agbaji to end up because they’re in desperate need of a shooting guard and pairing him up with De’Aaron Fox could cause problems for other teams in the league.
