The most entertaining game of the weekend went to overtime before Arizona prevailed.
Sunday’s game was looking like all the rest of the Wild Card games this weekend: a little boring. Green Bay was losing by a ton in the second half but then stormed all the way back to force overtime.
However a thrown interception deep in their own end lead to a defensive touchdown for Arizona and that completed the draw for next weekend’s divisional round matchups.

If this weekend taught us anything, it’s that bettors should really play the dogs on wild-card weekend: Three of the four road teams won (Green Bay opened as a dog but went off as a 2-point favorite). Last year, two road teams won. All four games this weekend were rematches of regular season games, with three of them having been played in Week 17. The winners in the regular-season finale were 2-1 this time around only the Cardinals changed the outcome. Baltimore had lost to New England in Week 4 but pulled the upset of the weekend in Foxborough.
Oddsmakers at Bodog will likely have the four home teams in the divisional round as early favorites. It’s a short week for both Baltimore (at Indianapolis) and Arizona (at New Orleans), while Dallas (at Minnesota) and the Jets (at San Diego) catch a bit of a break in that they get to play on Sunday.
Only one of the four matchups in the divisional round is a rematch from the regular season: Indy won at Baltimore in Week 11, 17-15, as the Ravens were kept out of the end zone. In the past 15 years, the road team’s winning percentage is about five percent lower in the divisional round than the wild-card round. But also remember that last year three road teams won in the divisional round, including the Cardinals and Ravens.
