Usa Vs Finland Ice Hockey Odds

Published on

The USA and Finland go head to head tomorrow in the early game from the Vancouver Olympics.

The semifinal for men’s ice hockey takes place on February 26th at noon PST (3pm ET) as the USA and Finland go head to head.  Odds are now available with bet365 and here they are, favoring the Americans:

USA to win straight up, -165 (20/33)
Finland to win straight up, +145 (29/20)

This game looks like a coin toss in a lot of ways.

While Ryan Miller does the give the American team a bit of an edge in net Miikka Kiprusoff, on the other side, can be expected for very big stops as well.  Both goaltenders are coming off of shutouts but Kiprusoff’s was against a much better team in Jagr’s Czech Republic.

Look for Saku Koivu, Teemu Selanne, and Oli Jokinen to make a big difference in this game for the Fins and take Finland straight up, with their underdog odds, as it is generally better to go with the longer price when a game looks so close.

The Finnish team does have a ton of members that were apart of the silver medal at Italy 2006 and they are much more experienced in this situation.

Finland 3, USA 2.
