South American Futsal giant Argentina will help Iran get into condition for the 2022 AFC Futsal Asian Cup when they battle in two friendly matches this July.
Speaking to the media, Ehsan Osouli, a member of Iran’s Football Federation Board of Directors said that they have already reached an agreement with the Argentina Futsal committee.
The Iran Futsal team will meet the South American powerhouse on July 8 and July 10 in Argentina.
Headed by former Team Melli player Vahid Shamsael, the Iran Futsal team will need all the help they can get when they compete in the star-studded cast Asian Cup this September in Kuwait.
Argentina is among the top nations in Futsal, currently ranked third in the world along with Portugal and behind Spain and Brazil.
In their last match with Iran, the Argentinians scored a narrow 2-1 victory over the former in the preliminary round of the 2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup.
