Brisbane Broncos centre Justin Hodges has been recalled to the Queensland squad for the next week’s State of Origin Game 3
Hodges is back in the Maroon colours for the first time since 2009 after two years of constant injury problems and will line up in the centres, with Dane Nielsen named on an extended five-man bench.
Another player on the extended bench is New Zealand Warriors prop Jacob Lillyman.
He has been drafted in to replace Dave Taylor, who has entered an early guilty after being charged with a lifting tackle and he looks certain to be banned for one game, therefore ruling him out of the Origin camp.
