Argentine winger Angel Di Maria has reportedly moved closer to a move to Juventus following the expiration of his contract with his current club, PSG.
Di Maria, who is PSG’s all-time record assist provider, is set to be joined at Juventus alongside French star Paul Pogba.
Di Maria, who is now 34, still feels he has plenty to offer both club and country and is looking to remain in Europe before finishing his career back in Argentina.
Joining the French giants back in 2015, Di Maria scored 91 goals and set up a further 111 in his 294 matches for the club.
He makes a move to Juventus to stay in top shape for his country ahead of what will be his last international tournament for Argentina.
He will join a Juventus side that will be looking to reclaim their Scudetto title, having not won the league in the past two previous seasons. Juventus will also be looking to advance deep in the Champions League following a poor showing last season, where they were knocked out by eventual semi-finalists Villarreal.
