Arsenal looking to South America to replenish their squad

Published on

It’s been a funny end to the season for Arsenal, for so long the Gunners were in the driving seat for a top 4 finish but the wheels have come off and Arsenal now find themselves three points behind rivals Tottenham in the race for a Champions League place.

With the Arsenal squad still far from being the finished article, the Arsenal hierarchy already has one eye on the summer transfer window.

Arsenal has a number of South American stars in their squad with Gabriel and Gabriel Martinelli both being regular starters. Arsenal is looking to South America once again and it’s been reported that the duo of Alexis Duarte and Julio Encisco have been watched for a long time.

Both are young promising players and would cost about £15 million between them.

The mantra for Arsenal is simple, buy young talent. Arsenal has quickly assembled one of the youngest teams in the league and it looks like their plans this summer will be no different.
