Chelsea Fc V Reading Fc Premier League Kick Off Time

Premier League – Chelsea FC v Reading FC kick-off time

Chelsea v Reading takes place tonight in Chelsea’s first home game of the 2012-13 Premier League season.

The game takes place at Stamford Bridge, with kick-off scheduled for 19:45 BST and the game sold out.

Chelsea started the season with a 2-0 win at Wigan on Saturday, with new signing Eden Hazard stealing the show.

“Hazard was outstanding,” said manager Roberto Di Matteo afterwards.

“He showed all his qualities and it was a pleasure to watch him. He was a big threat and difficult to mark.”

Di Matteo has admitted that another summer signing, Brazilian playmaker Oscar, is going to be slowly integrated, so Chelsea fans may not get to see him in action against newly-promoted Reading.

“He hasn’t been with us long so we have to give him the right time to get used to his new team-mates, the club and the team, do some tactical work with him and slowly put him into the team,” said Di Matteo at his pre-match press conference.

Chelsea have a good record in this fixture and have won five and lost none of the last six meetings with Reading in all competitions.

Reading, who drew 1-1 with Stoke at the weekend, know points away from home will be vital this season, and have previously won just seven of 38 Premier League games on the road.
