Everton may face a battle to keep hold of Richarlison

Published on

It’s been a slog of a season for Everton who finds themselves in the thick of a relegation battle in the Premier League.

It was revealed last season that Everton had breached UEFA financial spending rules and as a result was unable to spend a significant amount of money on transfer fees. It will be the same this summer.

With Everton’s immediate future looking bleak and with the need to balance the books, rumors are swirling that the Merseyside club may need to sell either Richarlison or Dominic Calvert Lewin to help keep the club on an even keel.

At just 24 Richarlison has his best football ahead of him. Clubs such as PSG and Tottenham are rumored to have an interest in the Brazilian striker who has scored 18 goals for his country.

Richarlison has only found the back of the net 6 times this season but is currently in a team that rarely gives him any decent service. Being surrounded by better players could make Richarlison an astute signing for whoever can land his signature.
