Kaka Man Utd Transfer Speculation Dominates Twitter

Bookmakers on Sunday afternoon slashed the odds on Kaka joining Manchester United this month.

Kaka, who has been linked with a number of clubs over the summer, was trending on Twitter on Sunday as rumours circulated that the Brazil international was on his way to Old Trafford on a season-long loan deal.

Although the speculation showed the power of the social networking website, bookmakers Sky Bet reacted by slashing the odds on the 30-year-old joining Sir Alex Ferguson’s side before the end of the month from 6/1 right down to 8/11, before cutting the odds further to just 1/2 after reporting a flurry of activity from customers.

Real Madrid are prepared to let Kaka leave the Bernabeu as they are not against getting his six-figure weekly wage off their books, but it had been thought that a return to former club AC Milan was his most likely option.

“It is possible that I could leave Madrid this summer. I don’t know yet,” he told AS recently.

“If this was to be the case then I would want to play for another big European club and try to win titles again.”
Ferguson, who on Friday completed the £24million signing of Robin van Persie and has already brought in Japanese playmaker Shinji Kagawa, had earlier hinted that he could make one more signing before the transfer window closes, although it is believed that one player will be a left-back.

Kaka has also been linked with Chelsea, Manchester City, and Paris Saint-Germain, while Galatasaray are also keen.
